Presidents’ Summit 2010

Psalm 91:1-4

1He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].     2I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!     3For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.     4[Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. (Amp)

Surely this was our experience as we gathered in Perth for the annual Presidents’ Summit of Aglow Australia and Papua New Guinea.  God’s presence permeated every meeting as we worshipped, listened to His word, and were trained as leaders for the coming days of Aglow.  We were assured that He is with us as He leads us into unfolding facets of what He wants to bring forth in our nation and other nations through the women of this ministry.  We must not shrink back from all He has called us to but continue to stretch out our borders knowing that He will provide all that is needed. 

God has been positioning Aglow in 2008/2009 and now we have left the safety of what we have known to soar with Him in the power of the Holy Spirit in this fresh season of Aglow.  On our final morning of summit the teaching on the Tabernacle of Moses confirmed that everything we need has already been done in and through Jesus Christ our Saviour.  He now dwells with us and we place our trust firmly in Him and anticipate with joy the days that lie ahead.
