Far East Russia Trip May 09

It was a very exciting time in Russia when a team from Australia went to visit the Algow family in Far East Russia. The team consisted of Kerry Ellen Logan, Hannah Walter, Beverly Golder and Vicki Cosgrove. From driving around in many cars on bumpy roads to seeing the sights of the country regions Far East Russia was a wonderful expereince for all.
The women of Far East Russia have hard lives to live daily but it was evident that they were encouraged by the ministry that they recieved, the love that was shared and the hugs that were given that a rich deposit of God was left with every women we came into contact with. We also felt though that we recieved so much to see that through all circumstances to give thanks to God, to know that He is our provider, the joy on the womens face was indescribable.
Some highlights:
- The smiles on the women’s faces when they left the meetings, Joyful in what God has done in their lives.
- Kerry-Ellen dancing to a LaBamba version of Hallelujah.
- The little baby girl Sasha that captured our hearts with her big blue eyes.
- The simplicity of the love of God in the hearts of the men and women we met along the way.
- Ordering food that would come out from the restaurant differently every time you ordered it!
Overall the trip to Far East Russia was a barrel load of wonderful experiences.
