Aglow Australia- A Network of Caring Women

Aglow is an international interdenominational Christian Women’s Organisation which had it’s beginnings in the United States of America in 1967.

We celebrated with joy the faithfulness of the Almighty to the Aglow Ministry (formerly Women’s Aglow) in this nation of Australia, which was affiliated in 1978 under the leadership of the Founding National President Rev. Joan Morton.

In 2005, our beloved Joan stepped down and a National Board and Office was established in Perth Western Australia under the leadership of Mrs Kerry-Ellen Logan.

The foundation laid that Aglow Australia would be a place of the word, the Spirit and God’s love and this has kept the ministry focused on God alone through ever changing times.

Aglow offers a place for all women of every generationwhere they can be enveloped by God’s love as expressed through the hands and hearts of the many women who have found a safe, exciting and rich journey with God. It is a journey of restoration, revelation and equipping for God’s call.

Aglow women have reached out in faith, prayer and giving beyond our own communities to bring the hope of Christ to women around Australia as we have trekked this nation. God has lead Aglow Australia beyond our shores to Papua New Guinea and Far East Russia, where the life changing power of the Holy Spirit and God’s love is experienced by many women who are part of the Aglow family.

Wherever Aglow women meet we are united as one in Him in Spirit breathed unity and God commands a blessing.

We link our arm, hearts and prayers in carrying the light and love and power of God to those the Holy Spirit leads us to. Jesus is central in all that we do. It is the Lord whom we follow, and he continues to say “Come, follow me…”.

We give thanks to God for every woman through the years who has put her hand to the plough to reach women with the gospel of Jesus Christ and we wholeheartedly continue to serve God with joy knowing it is:
