Fire & Glory Post Conference Report.
We wanted YOU to feel a part of the conference even if you didn’t attend. So, four of our pilgrims have shared their insights about the NZ 50th Year Celebration. Twenty Aussies made their way over to be a part of this Celebration. Jeanette, the National Board, and the team were extremely hospitable to all of us.
From the very beginning to the end, God moved powerfully. How magnificent is our God! Every part of the NZ 50th Year dovetailed together. The worship, prayer, and the Word from everyone who had the microphone were all very poignant and perfect for the ‘Now’ season we are in.
We serve a HOLY God, and JOY abounded. The angels glorified God with us. Visions, prophetic words, unity, boldness, and courage were captured by us. Keys were given and decrees were made. The Pacific Nations were honoured, and unity flowed.
With continued love and prayers,
Helen Reardon, Development Coordinator.
Amazing presence of God. The 50th anniversary celebration of Aglow NZ has been a pivotal moment in God. I sense the Lord has released a wave of anointing over NZ Aglow, flowing into the South Pacific. It was encouraging to meet so many young people who are part of Aglow New Zealand. The next generation of Aglow is truly alive and well.
It is time; as believers, we are to affect the world around us and become all He has called us to be. I believe we’ve come away from the conference with a new zeal and renewed strength as we received joy in greater measure. What a privilege it was to have been in Wellington, “for such a time as this.” Praise the Lord.
We were reminded to take time out to be with God and let His presence saturate us. Everything we need comes from being in His presence. Hang out with Jesus. Dwell in the secret place of the Most High. That’s how we get to a place where the power of God flows through us, affecting others. Not by might or by power, but by the Holy Spirit presence we carry.
Blessings,
Margaret Lyle, Leader of East Gippsland Aglow.
We came away from the conference with a strong sense of commitment and commissioning to link arms across the South Pacific in unity and for such a time as this. We are one. There is a fresh commissioning and a new level of authority now released to co-labor in establishing Christ's purposes on the earth. It’s halftime, and the second half will be played stronger, harder, and with more of God's power on us. Thrones are coming down. We have the power to put the axe to the root and cast it into the sea. There is no spot on earth where Christians can't be victorious. Crushing is a stage, not a destination. We measure by what God can do. Ewes guide the lambs. God is in the NOW, not in the past. Build altars of prayer so we can leave a legacy of power. He is positioning us so we can move on His behalf. Go after the power. The signature of Jesus is miracles, signs, and wonders. Power, not progress. Passion, not polished. Presence, not policy. Acts 19:11: "Now God did extraordinary miracles by the hands of Lorri."... "Include your name."
Kingdom blessings,
Lorri Walker, Leader of Redcliffe Aglow.
So blessed to have attended the NZ conference! We had an awesome band that was so sensitive to God’s Spirit, ushering us into God’s presence in every session, along with godly speakers depositing precious nuggets into our spirits. Our main speaker, Ps Tak Bhana, said the conference was a unique tap on the shoulder for a fresh anointing and that we need to be ready for our greatest season. We are not too old or too long on the road, and this is most definitely not the season for campervan holidays! We were reminded of the verse in Job 5:7: “Yet man is born to trouble as surely as sparks fly upward.”
From time to time, we face battles and trouble; therefore, we are bruised in some areas, but God uses this process to take us to a new level of soaring, and we must not let what the enemy puts in us destroy us! Ps Tak used the perfect analogy of eagles—they are all about soaring and using the storms to fly higher. “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,” says the LORD Almighty. “And in this place I will grant peace,” declares the LORD Almighty. In conclusion, Ps Tak mentioned a quote from Catherine Booth: “If we are to better the future, we must disturb the present.” So, let’s step out and see God move mightily.
Love,
Kathy Van Heerden, Leader of Sutherland Aglow.
It was a highlight to connect in person with so many we are connected to in spirit through the South Pacific Zooms. We were one family.
Believe the Book; He can do it through you.
One word stood out to me, repeated many times: NOW! Not when God does... not what He did in the past... NOW is the time to take back territory and reclaim our position in the nation. We must take ownership for our children's sake.
