Prayer Assignment in Tasmania

The “ends of the earth” is not just a phrase; it describes people living in that geographical region with a unique identity and call. With that call in our hearts, we considered it a privilege to be part of bringing in His Kingdom purposes here on Earth! All the glory belongs to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Yeshua HaMashiach.

Our Journey

The LORD brought together a team of twelve/thirteen of us—eight from Tasmania and five from over Bass Strait. We were in Launceston and the surrounding area for three full days. In preparation for this prayer journey, it was revelatory to read Kathryn Yaxley’s paper on Tasmania’s destiny, which the LORD had given her as a download a few years ago. Yet, I initially had been concerned about jurisdiction… Was this prayer journey His appointment for me? And a question arose: What was the Lord’s heart for bringing a team together at this time?

His Heart

• There were administration matters for the conference to be attended to, and prayer cover on-site.

• There were beautiful prayer streams from earlier prayer events with AGLOW for Tasmania, as well as other prayer streams that God had inaugurated within Tasmania.

The Holy Spirit wove these all together. He also initiated a fresh call and brought forth another series of scriptural declarations and prophetic acts.

Speaking to the Land

But first, He had an amazing sequence of prayer released, speaking to the LAND itself. How beautiful it is when we walk together in God’s protocols! Our team members’ family heritage meant there was such a weight of God-given Authority and Right-Order Jurisdiction. We stood in the unity of the Spirit of God as His Ekklesia, bringing His release and restoration for the land.

We took Communion together and for the land itself, pouring out the redemptive and transforming Blood of the Lamb. Oh, Hallelujah!

Later that day, we drove up to the Great Lake… What a beautiful area and a spectacular drive.

Prophetic Acts and Declarations

God had given specific prayers, scriptural declarations, and prophetic acts to be released… Isn’t it a wonder when you know that you know these matters are from His heart and not from your own mind or thoughts?

We were led in prayer again as we spoke to the land up on the mountain. The sounds of heartfelt intercession filled the air. The sorrows of the ages past.

Again we stood in agreement, to sound the Shofar and to declare His Word over Tasmania and Australia, encompassing the Great Southlands of the Holy Spirit. We shared Communion and with salt released His cleansing and His Salt Covenant through the waterways and the airways for the people and the land.   It was an amazing day ….. in God, for God, by His grace and favour. 

We thank You Father God for answering the prayers of Your people. We thank You for all you released and cleansed and made whole. You are wonderful, Lord God Almighty. We Praise Your holy name, Yeshua Our Lord. Hallelujah!
